Georgina Cares was honoured to be one of the recipient charities for the 2011 Magna Hoedown! The event, which took place in September 2011 raised over $520-thousand for 20 local charities.

Program Administrator Jennifer Anderson, along with Mayor Robert Grossi (President of Georgina Cares) and Ward 1 Councillor (and Board Member) Naomi Davison, accept a cheque from Magna’s Steve Hinder.  Georgina Cares was thrilled to receive a portion of the funds from the 2011 Magna Hoedown.

The event took place on Saturday, September 10th on the Magna campus in Aurora under the largest tent in the country.  Take a look at pictures from this year’s event (and the journey leading up to it) below!
