Fundraisers & Events

Georgina Cares could not function without the support of many local businesses and residents.  We are thrilled to be the recipient of so many worthwhile community events.  Take a look at just a few, below!

Georgina Cares is thrilled to be the charity of choice for the Canadian Motorcycle Cruisers’ Georgina chapter.  This is the 2nd $500 donation our organization has received from the CMC Georgina 057 group in the last year!

The Keswick Fire Fighters Association presents a cheque for $1000 to members of Georgina Cares at this year’s Kidfest!  Money was raised from their annual Boot Drive!

Jennifer Anderson accepts a cheque from the Georgina Home & Lifestyle Show Chair, Amanda Stewart and the ladies from Whipper Watson.  The money was raised from the key note speaker and the pie throwing contest at the 2013 Home Show.  For more pictures from the pie throwing contest, head over to our News Page

Emma is a young entrepreneur committed to raising funds for organizations in our community, including Georgina Cares.  She does this by selling Lemonade at different events throughout the year.  Here, her stand is set up at our 2010 Kidfest.  She is posing with GC Program Administrator Jennifer and her helper (and brother) Ben.

Ferd donation

An annual getaway for a group of friends has become a generous way to give back to our organization.  A great big thank-you goes out to Tim Follwell, who has generously donated $2000 to date, following this annual weekend away!

This year, First Choice Haircutters – Keswick held a “Kids Cut Month” to raise money for Georgina Cares.  A dollar from every kids haircut was donated to our organization.  Here, owner Marla Baker presents a cheque for $500.

Georgina Cares is thrilled to be the recipient of funds raised by the annual Christmas Bazaar at Sutton by the Lake.  Here, the ladies present a cheque for $500, following the event!
